My first Velvia film got back from the processors today. And wow, it really is great at handling colours, the Velvia. (You do happen to "discover" things when having taken any shots for a long time). Some of the shots turned out very nice indeed (you'll see them here soon I hope) while others really didn't come through as intended.

The film also is the first stumbling step along the path of "Same but different" photography - I stalked the tourists in town and shot what they shot, but trying to do it differently. Not too bad, although nothing breathtakingly revolutionary. An almost decent first attempt - you'll have a few of those as well I think.

All in all, a pleasant surprise ...
